Once upon a time I read about a man who could make clouds in the sky disappear at will. I was intrigued by the trick and tried it out. And quite soon I was able to choose a cloud and then decide to see through it, which led to its disappearance within a minute or so.

It was like a party trick that I was able to teach to my son as well. But I also felt that it had a deeper meaning or truth about how to face the clouds or shadows of my mind. You need to see or acknowledge the shadow or the fearful memory in your mind, and only then can you decide to see through it or ignore it by focusing on the sky or the mind that gave rise to it. The clouds, shadows and fears are always temporal, but the sky or the mind as their source always remains. The trick is to choose where to focus, on the eternal truth or on the illusions flashing by…

I have been lately intrigued by the message of A Course In Miracles,which actually is a course of how to see through the clouds or memories keeping the true living light of our mind hidden from us. It is an unrelenting pointer telling us that we are the sons and daughters of the Creator itself, who have hidden themselves within the thick clouds of fear and ignorance arising from our misdirected will of trying to revolt against our Father and trying to create on our own. I’ll do it my way, you know…That is our original sin, the denial ofwhich has lead to the creation of this illusory world of forever shifting realities. We all live in a huge cloud of fearful illusions.

Now is the time to see through it, and to reconnect with the divine mind within it all, within us all. We are the mind of God, not the petty clouds drifting through it. We are eternal, the One giving rise to the illusion of the many. And to see this we have no time but now, this forever new moment carrying all life in eternity. Forever now…
